Ginseng & Honey

A classic root tea for physical endurance.

You know those days when your energy justโ€ฆ disappears halfway through? Not dramatic, not catastrophic, just quietly gone. Youโ€™re still functioning, but everything feels like itโ€™s running on low battery mode.

This is where the old-school remedies step in. No flashy ingredients, no complicated steps. Just something steady, warm, and quietly powerful thatโ€™s been doing its job long before trendy drinks showed up.

Strength Lineup:

3โ€“5 slices dried or fresh ginseng root (the endurance builder that works behind the scenes)
1โ€“2 tsp honey (the gentle sweetener that smooths everything out)
1 1/2 cups water (the carrier that brings it all together)

Steps:

Step 1: Wake the Root

Add ginseng slices and water into a small pot and bring it to a gentle simmer.

Let it cook for about 15โ€“20 minutes until the water takes on a light golden hue and the aroma starts to feel grounding and warm.

Step 2: Let It Settle

Turn off the heat and let the tea sit for a few minutes. This is where the flavor deepens and mellows.

Step 3: Sweeten the Moment

Strain into a cup and stir in honey while itโ€™s still warm. Adjust to your liking. Some days you want it stronger, some days softer.

Take Note:

Donโ€™t rush the simmer. Low and steady heat draws out the best from the ginseng without turning it too bitter.

Itโ€™s simple, steady, and exactly what you need when your energy feels off. Sometimes the quiet remedies are the ones that carry you the furthest.
